The Hero’s Journey Private Session

A private session for creators ready to align their inner depth with their outer presence

There is a moment most serious creative professionals reach — usually quietly, without drama — where they sense that the work they are making and the life they are presenting to the world are not yet fully the same thing.

The work carries depth. The inner life is rich. The sensitivity and the vision are real and hard-won. And yet the portfolio, the LinkedIn profile, the way the work gets talked about in rooms that matter — these feel like a translation that has lost something essential in the process.

That gap has a name.

Jung called it the unfinished work of individuation — the lifelong journey toward becoming wholly and authentically oneself, in which the outer story we tell the world finally aligns with the inner story we are living. It is the most serious and most personal journey a human being can take. And it is, almost always, the exact journey a creative professional is on when they feel that gap.

This session exists to close it.

The Double Journey

The Outer Journey and the Inner Journey are not two separate stories. They are the two movements of the same journey — the journey Jung called individuation.

The Hero moves outward: threshold, trial, transformation, return. It is the story of how you act on the world — how you build, create, lead, and leave a mark.

The Hero moves inward: descent, confrontation with the shadow, integration of what has been rejected or unlived, emergence of the whole self. It is the story of how the world acts on you — how you are broken open, deepened, and made more true.

Every creative professional is living both journeys simultaneously. The outer career and the inner becoming are not separate tracks. They are the same track, seen from two directions at once.

The question is not which journey you are on.

The question is whether the outer story you are telling the world is aligned with the inner story you are living.

When they align — that is when the work becomes unmistakable.

What This Session Is

A 90-minute private session in which we map your double journey — the outer arc and the inner arc — and identify with precision where you are, where the misalignment lives, and what the next movement is that closes the gap.

This is not a branding exercise. It is not a confidence workshop. It is not a template you could complete alone.

It is a live, personal reading of the story your creative work is telling — both the story the world sees and the story that is waiting, with increasing impatience, to be told.

This Session Is For You If

You create creative work — writing, design, architecture, innovation, photography, art direction, film, illustration, set design, styling, branding or any discipline where the image carries an emotional and atmospheric life of its own.

You have reached the point in your creative practice where the craft is no longer the primary challenge. The challenge now is legibility — how to make the depth visible, how to translate the inner world into an outer presence that attracts the right collaborations, the right clients, the right chapter.

You want to work with premium clients — luxury, beauty, lifestyle, design, editorial — without flattening your work to fit their expectations. You want to be recognised for the specific, irreplaceable quality of what you make. And you sense, with growing certainty, that the next chapter of your professional life requires a different and more complete version of your story.

If you read that and felt recognised, this session was built for you.

What We Work On

Using the double journey framework — outer and inner journey — we will map four things together.

First, where you are in your individuation process: the threshold you have already crossed, the trials that have shaped your visual language and creative identity, the shadow material that may be keeping your presence smaller than your work deserves, and the specific stage of the double journey you are navigating right now.

Second, what your work is actually expressing at its deepest level: the emotional and visual qualities that make it distinctively, irreplaceably yours — the things that your ideal clients feel before they can name them, and that you need to be able to articulate before the right collaborations can find you.

Third, where the misalignment lives: the precise gap between the inner story you are living and the outer story you are currently telling — in your portfolio, your profile, your pitches, and your professional presence.

Fourth, the next movement: the single most powerful action that would close that gap and align your outer story with your inner truth — not as a branding decision, but as an act of individuation.

What You Receive

The session itself — 90 minutes of undivided, precise, personal attention to your story and your work.

A short preparation questionnaire sent in advance, designed to bring the most essential material into the room before we begin.

A written Story Map — delivered within 48 hours of the session — documenting your archetypal position on the double journey, the core creative identity that emerged from our conversation, your positioning statement, and your three most important next steps. This document is yours to use in pitches, proposals, portfolio introductions, and any professional context where your story needs to be told with precision and power.

The Investment

€350 — inclusive of preparation, the full session, and the written Story Map.

Four sessions are available each month. This is a deliberate limit, not a marketing device. The quality of this work depends on full presence and it cannot be scaled without being diminished.

When the four spots are full, the next availability is the following month.

Sessions are conducted via Zoom. Payment by invoice on confirmation of booking.

To Book

Send a message to peterdekuster2023@gmail.com with the subject line My Story and two or three sentences about where you are in your work right now — not your biography, not your CV, just where you are today and what feels unresolved.

Peter will respond within 24 hours.
